We had a lovely lunch at the Antlers while we were visiting Jura. One of the best tips we got was to try the soups in Scotland at every opportunity which we did, and the offering at the Antlers was not a disappointment. The food and service were delightful, the local crafts available on site were so tempting I had... More

Great - we loved this restaurant. Great menus, good value, no licence but you can bring your own drinks. More

We enjoyed a nice meal here, better than we were expecting from the outside. It's not licensed but they encourage you to take your own bottle. Unfortunately on the day we went they has just put up a notice saying they were going too close in September, so this may be the last review posted... More

The island is so small that there is very little choice however this is a good choice. We only had coffee & cakes etc but they were very good with strong nice coffee. They also take debit cards which was a bonus More

We didn't expect such a lovely meal in such a remote place. We were lucky to book the last available table when we popped in during the day after our morning walk. We then bought a bottle of wine from the only shop on the island (just across the road from the restaurant) which Grahame kindly offered to chill for... More

Scallops and black pudding! Smoked Muscles in escargot dishes! Even the vegetables were cooked with imagination - carrots in sweet chilli, kenyan beans in garlic sauce. Probably the best and most enjoyable meal I've ever had. More

We came across this little place whilst cycling around the Island and did not expect what we received when we walked in! Super friendly and genuine service backed up by a phenomenal and value for money menu making the most of the regions food such as smoked mussels and seafood bisque. Simple and beautiful the food blew us away and... More

The Antlers serves up cuisine more usual of a top class city centre restaurant from its modest site in Craighouse. A mix of local cuisine with more standard ingredients offers and excellent menu both during the day and in the evening. We first stopped in for a quick bite one lunchtime and had Venison which was delicious; Burgers, sausages and... More

Worth a visit as the only alternaitve to the hotel but no local cuisine was a disappointment. What we had we enjoyed - nicely cooked and beautifully presented - but the hotel's prices and meals are hard to beat. More
