Long time diver, first time reviewer. Also first time in St Abbs which I must say the diving was fantastic for May. This cafe is unfortunately not! I have never felt so unwelcome in my entire life. I felt I had to let you all know, which I now see was unnecessary as you already know from what I have... More

This cafe is in a lovely spot in St Abbs - a wee gem on the east coast but our trip was ruined by poor service we had. We ordered coffee and a cake each but the coffee was awful, so strong like drinking tar. I went to say something and had my head bitten off. Like it was my... More

This lovely cafe has great value and good quality snack food and cakes. The place is right on the harbour at St Abbs and is a great place to warm up after a windy walk to St Abbs Head. Friendly and speedy service

We often head down to St Abbs at the weekend for a walk over the cliffs, always ensuring that we are at Ebb Carrs by noon for a bowl of cullen skink and a fresh prawn baguette. Ebb Carrs does what every good seaside cafe should do - it serves fresh fish and seafood in a perfect setting. In winter... More

On a recent trip to St. Abbs my family and I came across this beautiful harbour with what I thought would be a little quaint cafe. How wrong I was! I've never been treated so badly in all my life. Whilst my family was deciding what to order, I thought I'd visit the toilet, which was followed by screams by... More

Visited St. Abbs with friends whilst we were travelling home from Edinburgh. They always manage to find a great place to eat and here was no different. The cafe menu is great and they have specials on too. The portion of chips is huge and the paninis are really tasty. Finally, there's the cakes, bakes and other sweet delights. All... More

This was a real find. As others have said, the cullen skink was very good. It rivalled the famous Tyndrum The Green Welly stop Cullen skink. The tea was piping hot and the coffee sponge cafe was delicious. Definitely worth a visit and excellent value. Service was cheery and helpful.

Arrived shortly before closing time but they still allowed us to order and gave us adequate time to drink. Very friendly place in a very nice little port. Well worth a visit.

We were very impressed with our lunch. The Cullin Skink I had was absolutely lovely. The whole wheat roll was warm and the butter melted. It was delicious. Tea was nicely presented with hot cups which, on a cold day was most welcome. Attention to detail was exceptional.

We are fortunate enough to live local to St Abbs and so can visit at will. Ebb Carrs is always a calling point whether for lunch (the cullen skink is fabulous as are the crab rolls and the scones!!***) or a take out coffee and traybake as we walk back to Eyemouth. Thank you Ebb Carrs.
