We just returned back from at trip to Memphis. Prior to going my husband googled around for good places to eat and came across The Little Tea Shop featured on Drive In's, Diners and Dives. For me it was the highlight meal of the whole trip, for my husband...second place to Tom's BBQ and Deli (my husband love ribs...so only... more
Found on accident but we love finding the 'neighborhood' places. The fact that it is a repeater for locals says it is an OK place. Greeted warmly, food is just what it says..home....how much more home can you get than meat loaf, or, peach cobbler... Memphis has sub-shops and fast food.......this is NOT the place..they don't even serve hamburgers...or hot... more
The food is very good, but the service is spotty and owner's kissing up to local lawyers, politicians and businessmen is annoying. more

my self and my partner were in memphis last september first timers an all . one very hot day after being down at the river we stumbled across little tea shop .such a joy to rest our weary legs .we both had the peach cobbler mm mm like an angel dancing on your tongue got...they got the real memphis going... more
Yummy if you're in the mood for a veggie plate and some grease. Best turnip greens in Memphis. more
Everyone seems to love this place...except me. You can mingle with the who's who of Memphis here if that's your thing (with photos of city leaders all over the walls), but bring a bag lunch! The food leaves much to be desired. more
For down home food, this place is perfect. Great for lunch! more
