Fast food BBQ is a neat concept, but this restaurant could work a little bit on customer service. I had a complaint about some tough and dry brisket I ordered and was met by a rude manager. It was my first and last visit. All I wanted was a new piece of brisket. more

We were so dissappointed with our trip to Cartwright's. We were visiting Bastrop and asked in a local shop for a good BBQ recommendation and Cartwright's was recommended. My husband and I each ordered a 2 meat plate so we ended up trying the brisket, ribs, sausage and turkey. I hate to say it but this was the worst brisket... more

I used to brag on your turkey, that it tasted great and the portions were plenty. Your turkey still taste great but I would not recommend going through the drive thru when ordering a sandwich. Good basic family bar-b-q restaurant. The beef ribs and the sausage were pretty good.. The sausage had a lot of pork in it I think,though I'm not too fond of the pork taste,but it was still good.
