My family and I ate dinner there on August 6, 2009 and the service and food both were wonderful. Our waitress was very prompt and cheerful. Hubby has been on a hamburger semi-strike for years as they are always mediocre. He took a risk and ordered one here. Definitely the best hamburger in at least 15 years. Recommended. My only complaint was that the gravy on my potatoes and Chicken Fried Steak was cold and not homemade. Other than that, my husband's steak was delicious and we had the cream cheese cake that was superb! Get it with ice cream! more
Sort of like a Chili's or Bennigans - local restaurant with model trains running overhead and eclectic decor. Soup and sandwich, fries and burgers ordered. Everything was pretty good. Would eat there again if we were in the area. more
Pretty good home cooking, and they have smaller plates if you are poor or want to not get fat. more
Great American food with a clever theme taken from a character in Gilligan's Island. The restaurant is clean and has a train running the course of the ceiling that kids will enjoy. The chicken fried steak and beef tips are excellent. more
