Local is delicious, but Tracy Miller takes herself a little too seriously, and the service is rarely any good. The food is unique and tasty in similar ways to Stephan Pyles' work, and the place is nothing but cool as all hell inside. Local is so obscure. If you blink you'll pass it! It's small, intimate and fabulous. The servers are so efficient and friendly. I was set to order when the server mentioned the specials and that changed everything! Homemade tortilla soup with mini black bean and goat cheese quesadillas was delicious. Don't be deterred by the vacant buildings and signs of transition surrounding this restaurant. Staff welcomed us, made us feel at home, and treated us to a delightful evening.
