Had a great dinner with my family here on Christmas Eve. Really good buffalo ribeye. The filet and shrimp were also tremendous and perfectly prepared. The deserts were out of this world. Homemade banana pudding, desert tacos with fresh mint and chocolate, and an eggnog creme Brule. Everything was perfect for us. more

My wife arrange the dinner reservations and they gave us a great table and I was surprised to see that their was also flowers (from a florist...I believe). We dined at Reata on our first night in Fort Worth -- had a lovely table outside overlooking the square. Very romantic. Service was good -- but the food was very average. I would recommend going for appetizers and drinks or coffee and dessert instead of an entire meal. more
This has a certain style that is very original. I wish this was the main restaurant that people go to for visitors. It is VERY original. The food is like no where else. The bread is great and unique. You're best to visit Reata when you want an appetizer and some drinks. We went for an entire meal & found only two things on the menu we'd recommend. I live in Fort Worth and have eaten at the Reata several times. I think it's a fun place to take people from out of town since it has a Western feel and the food is usually good. Best steaks in North Texas. Go to this Ft. Worth staple for great food paired with excellent service. Appetizers are worth the extra consideration. Don't miss the dessert tamale. more
