Sorrentos has closed and a new dining establishment has open there. The Union Kitchen which is very good.
The restaurant is closed forever. It is too bad but the handwriting was on the wall. Even if it had reopened at the new location I don't think that it would have lasted under the present ownership.
I have been going to Sorrento's since it opened. Under the original owner the place was a gem. While it is still a beautiful place to visit everything else has gone down hill, except for the piano player who is there Thursday, Friday and Saturday. He is great. I understand that the restaurant is moving about 500 feet further down... More
A group of eight of us went to try it last night. We sat in a beautiful wine room and a had a lovely piano bar playing most of the night. Not sure how the others felt about their food but my husband's and mine was barely mediocre. The salads all looked wonderful and my Caprese Salad, although small had... More
We are so fortunate to be able to enjoy such an upscale fine dining experience in Kingwood. The ambiance is outstanding having different dining rooms to choose from all unique, offering something different. It begins with outstanding service, they never rush you. They offer outstanding wines in excellent vintages and the food is scrumptious too. Who doesn't love a thick... More
Went this evening and had Penne con Salsiccia, and the Ravioli di Pollo.. The Salsiccia was excellent and fresh. It was a very light dish considering it was sausage and was not extremely spicy. The Ravioli di Pollo was mediocre. It didn't have lot of flavor. The creme sauce was flat and tasteless. The serving size was small which was... More
service was slow, I ordered seafood and was quite obvious that everything was out of a can. Small almost non existent mussels, tiny clams, tasteless and boring. My husband had lasagna and that was the same, small and expensive. Would not recommend.
We went there for our anniversary. The ambiance and food was excellent with the service being somewhat suspect. A guy was walking about the place with greasy grey hair, crumpled suit, open neck shirt and down heeled unpolished shoes - we were told after he had cleared our entree plates that he was the owner and 'still learning'. Linen table... More
Service is very poorest we have ever had. Food portions were very small for what you are charged. Wrong orders were brought to other tables. People were all complaining about the service, how long it too, to get the food, and the manager making excuses. The manager apologized and blamed the staff, but this restaurant has very poor management. Our... More
