We went there for lunch and were the only ones in the restaurant (it was December and cool and rainy) and both ordered a pasta dish which were both very tasty. We got a big bowl of it for the money. Maybe a little high priced for the seafood dishes but the pasta dishes are certainly reasonable. more

My husband ate here on a recommendation from a Port A local. The moment we walked in the aromas coming from the kitchen were mouth-watering. It is extremely small and crowded but we were lucky to find one table open for us. Once we sat down, we waited more than 10 minutes to be addressed by anyone. We are really... more

We ate at this restaurant on Nov 14th our last night in Port A and what a mistake. We went there based on good reviews so I don't know what happened the night we were there. We arrived at about 7:45 and were told there would be a 30 minute wait but we could sit outside. No problem we thought.... more

We decided to try Shells during our recent trip to Port A the weekend of Oct 16. We've been to Port A several times but had not tried this particular restaurant. Since we were staying across the street, we decided to try it. It is a very small restaurant - 9 tables inside. They do have a patio, but it... more

Took a Sunday drive to Port A and decided to have lunch. Happening upon the quaint restaurant and savoring the aromas from the kitchen wafting through the Autumn breeze, our tastebuds were excited. We walked in the front door and noticed a reataurant full of diners. Good sign. Wrong. A waiter approached us and informed us they were closed for... more

I eat here and only a few other places in port aransas but this is the best.. They have the most friendly waitstaff and hostess that seem to really... more

They made something special for my husband and the food was great. Something for everyone, even the picky kids. Service was great, chef came out and spoke with us. We were very impressed with their creative and expansive menu. I would highly recommend you go. Whether you want a romantic night or have the kids, you won't be dissapointed. Very,... more

On our fourth day of our stay in PA we had dinner in this restaurant convieniently located in front of our hotel (Holiday inn express). What a relief after what we sometimes had to digest in other places in this same town which should be the mecca of seafood but where the fruits of the salty water are often abused... more

The food is superb. Each time we visit, however, we leave thinking that we, too, have herbs and the other ingredients and can do as well at home for less money. In fact, we do! It is a matter of getting superior ingredients and taking the time to put them together. Beyond the excellent-but-achievable food, there is nothing particularly special... more

Excellent food and a large number of innovative specials on the blackboard, which changes daily. The tuna sashimi appetizer is wonderful; the spring rolls are great, and the tomato basil soup is so good that you will want to buy a quart to take home (which they will gladly sell you ). On a budget? The open face tuna sandwich... more
