I am a life time residence of Smithvile and this is some of the best BBQ in the area. But the line is too long. Customer's in line have to wait on only ONE person cutting meat. Some of the best BBQ in the state. Sausage and Brisket are the best choices. Nice texas style sauce. Get here early as they run out quick. The sides are great too, especially the potato salad. Don't forget the banana pudding for dessert. Never had a bad experience at this restaurant, eating there or taking home. more
This is the best BBQ in the world! I need to go back and buy some sauce and sausage to freeze! I used to live in Smithville, and everytime I go back to visit family I always go there, unless it is Sunday. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! best sauce, all I can say is...EXTRA SAUCE! more
Used to visit my grandmother in Smithville, and we would wait for the doors to open - 30 yrs later, when traveling now, we make it a point to come through there, and get the best bar b que in Texas!! more
Ribs go fast, so call ahead if you want some saved back, but you can't lose on the brisket either. No sweet tea, but the tea is refreshing nonetheless.
