We received great service and the food was excellent! We had hamburgers and french fries...it was delicious! Service from our waitress - Glenda was superior! We are from Waco and stop by the Old Jody's whenever we go through Temple! more

My family & I tried Jody's today. Although both buildings look run down, we were told the Jody's we were at was built the most recent. Where do I start? The salad dressing was watered down. The chicken fried steak had a funny taste and it had been fried in very old grease. The womens restroom had no hot water... more

We visited the "new" Jody's towards closing. Great place to get "Americana" food. Family owned place with just about anything on the menu. Great service and a nice atmosphere. Worth the drive off the highway. Great Okra, Ham and Cheese Sandwhich and burgers. more

Great down home food and service. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large. Their fried okra is the best. The only negative is that the beer selection is limited. more
