Change the menu, change the servers....ours had the personality of a stick...and switch the hideous light fixtures. Until then...don't plan on returning. more
We have lived in Waco 19 years and this our second worst restaurant experience. 6 in our party. 1) When food brought 3 orders were incorrect. 2 had salads brought instead of fries and cole slaw. It's ok, but we've always left dissappointed for what we paid. Been in Waco for 15 years and have given it a chance about 3 times... we never find a reason to return. more

Looks like something from New York! Tables too high for comfort. Not enough tables and chairs, booths that are terribe. Tri angle table? Food good, service pretty good. Non Texas atmosphere. More Yuppie or phoney Yankee style. Want be back. Want recommend. Watch out for traffic on the infamous circle out front. A killer! The BBQ or Hamburger place next... more
I once had an experience of food taking too long, but a manager came by apologized and made it right. The Elite is a historic cafe that was completely renovated a few years ago. It has a really cool atmosphere adn good food at a reasonable cost. I have eaten there a dozen times and recommend it highly. more
It took over 30 minutes to get our food at noon on a Wednesday when the place wasn't at all full. Don't know what happened, no reason given. My husband ordered chicken tenders and I ordered a grilled veggie sandwich. Both were okay, although nothing special and the side of ranch dressing the menu promised with the veggie sandwich did... more
Good prices, great food, super service, awesome wine list.... a really fine place! Try the Dr. Pepper ribs!!!! more
