I had never heard of Rockett, TX. However, I sold a tractor to a man in Rockett and delivered it to him. While giving me directions to his home he said turn left at the "FAMOUS ROCKETT CAFE". (I thought to myself,,,,yeah right) I delivered the tractor and on the way back we stopped in. Best tasting and the crunchiest... more

I went there last Saturday. Since I had read positive reviews on their chicken fried steak that was my choice. When my CFS arrived it looked like a left over that had been re-heated in a microwave. I expected a crispy crust but it was soggy. The frech frys were also limp and soggy. Sorry for the negative review but... more

The Rockett Cafe has the best onion rings and chicken fried steak, all their steaks are great. They have really big baked poto. that are very good. Love it!!! more

By far, the best steakhouse I have ever sampled (even beats out Ruth's Chris, and that's pretty hard to do). Great rock floor, fireplace, waitstaff -- worth the drive from Dallas! more
