Great sandwich shoppe and a Kanab icon. Fast, friendly service and of course, some yummy ice cream creations.
I grew up in Utah but haven't lived in Utah for 30 years. We enjoyed our food last year but the service was quite rude and ornery ( to use a southern Utah rural word). We returned this year for their taco soup, gluten free homemade bread, and huge Utah shakes. Mormon comfort food! They must have had a staff... More
Stopped here for a light dinner after spending most of the day in the car. I ordered the small spinach salad ($5.99) and a cup of soup (chicken noodle). Salad was very small for the price. My husband ordered the reuben and said it was okay. I asked for water and got it in a small glass which needed to... More
Lousy service: The waitress got huffy when I asked if the turkey sandwich was made with deli meat. She took our order and then proceeded to make sundaes and milkshakes for six people who came in 10 minutes after we did. Lousy preparation: The veggie burger was described as 'so much more than a Boca'. Does Morningstar meet that qualification?... More
Good diner type place. I would recommend it for lunch. Not a very healthy menu, lots of fried stuff etc, but the meal was decent - I had a veggie lasagne. They also have ice cream - did not partake - and they also bake their own bread - got a loaf and it was fine. Friendly staff Cash only.
We stopped in for some ice cream and had a good time. Really cute decor and really nice employees. The one thing is they don't take credit cards so make sure you have cash. High recommended!
This is such a cute little restaurant we came across while riding bikes on our vacation. Stopped in for ice cream and it was delicious! My daughter ordered a banana split and it was HUGE! I tried the huckleberry ice cream...delicious. Decor inside is quaint with nice big windows and a little babbling brook in the corner.
My hubby and I ate here for lunch. His bbq pulled pork was sopping in grease! My Reuben tasted like pure vinegar!! Was not very good at all!! And 5.00 for two scoops of ice cream?!?! Are you kidding?!?! It would have been cheaper and tasted better if we would have bought groceries and made it ourselves!!! Very disappointed
