Irmita's has moved again, now inside a Shell gas station at 795 E. 700 South St. Their food is soooo good, but their old grass hut sure beats this yukky Shell station. Next time, I will definately get the food to go. At least they found a place to land, better than them going out of business. Excellent mexican fare. more

The down home ambiance of the grass hut is gone, but the food is still top-notch. We had to stop at Red Rock Bikes to ask where the little grass hut had gone. Turns out Irmita's found a new home as the food outlet in a Shell gas station (East 700 South). They are about to open a new place... more

I live in North Carolina but spent several months in St. George. I will never forget their steak torta. I have not found anything like it here. The staff always took care of our group and had a great time sitting around talking to people. I recomend this reastraunt to anyone who enjoys mexican food. more

Delicious, authentic, inexpensive mexican food has been served for years at Irmitas Bluff St. location. You will recongnize it by the PALM FROND ROOF! It is a tiny hut of a place with friendly staff (sometimes only one serving as cashier and cook) a funky fresh salsa bar, a small amount of indoor and outdoor seating and mexican music blaring.... more
