I ve been to rutland's 3 tomatoes trattoria over ten times in 4 years and must confess that it is consistent with good food, service and ambience. The wide open dining area is encouraging for socialization/parties and prices remain very, very moderate. Service is young and enthusiastic and there is always, thru ski season or summer, room for one more.... more

We enjoyed it here. We went in late on a Sunday night, peeking in the window I was concerned it was a "little" formal", but not at all inside. The service was excellent. Our waitress spent time with us telling us of other places to try in town as we are new in town. The food was great....a different bruchetta... more

I've been to other Three Tomatoes (the two in the Burlington area), and generally think these folks offer good value and a nice selection. But the Rutland restaurant is a few notches below the standard of the rest of the company. The service has been very poor. Last night my server was nowhere to be found after my food arrived... more

Priced well, though sometimes the olives are a little over salt. I would go here for the Mocha Torit cake every time. more

Went there recently courtesy of a gift certificate and had a great time. Our waitress was polite and fast, we were able to sample the house wines before choosing some to drink, the food came out quickly and tasted great, and the dessert was amazing.
