My husband an I have been eating at the Silver Palace since 1995. It is a truly lovely, clean, well-furnished restaurant with a very personable, attentive staff. The food is nothing short of awesome! Some of my favorites are the duck soup, soft shell crab in a soft tortilla with lots of cilantro and a just-right touch of Hoisin sauce... more

Star off for being pricy, but it's really good food... If you're going to pay this much to go out to eat chinese, your money is better spent at single pebble IMHO. more

I love this place! The theme is Chinese (with a good subset of Thai-influenced choices) but it's distinctively upscale and consistently tasty. You won't find chow mein or moo goo gai pan here - instead you can feast on Salmon GwinJin or Crispy Pork Grand Marnier. The service is swift and professional, the servings are generously sized, and the atmosphere... more

I have had lunch here several times and it was good, however the evening house specials were out of this world and a real suprise and treat especially the lamb chops. Great place to eat call ahead for reservations. bwainer essex jct vt more
