We are locals and have had the same consistent issues as past visits: * Hostess/wait staff not friendly * We have dietary/GF concerns -- when questioned the waitstaff was "pretty sure" no issues with dietary concerns - took numerous questions before they'd commit to checking with the chef. I eat at Cactus several times a year when I am in Stowe. You cannot go wrong here--the food is consistent and all good, regular menu items as well as daily specials. The staff is knowledgeable and on top of things. Recommended! more
