This place was fun for ordering drinks but the food was disappointing. The nachos only come covered in a cheese spread, go elsewhere for food.
We stayed at the Hotel Dario and O'Shea's was across the street. What a find. We ate 3 meals there. We met Tom the owner and he could not have been nicer. On Sat night me wife and I both ordered the 8 oz Filet. Well I know meat and this steak was about 10 oz, wrapped with 2 slices... More
This was a spot we frequented during our stay in Granada. They've got great beer specials and good bar food, and it's in the middle of everything which allows for great people watching and sitting back and enjoying the beautiful Nicaraguan weather. As other reviews have mentioned, eating on Calzada can be difficult because you will be continuously approached by... More
The fish was greasy. The veggie wrap was steamed cauliflower and lettuce. No sauces or cheese.... Weird. Service was poor. Sadly they allowed a group to plug in their boombox so they could busk. No problem but bars should never encourage 3 year old children to dance for money. It was awful to see and the staff should not allow... More
Good food , good service , good prices and right in the middle of everything that's going on. Owner Tommy really is Irish and a very nice polite man , he will come to your table and ask if everything is ok . For us on our visit the best place in town .
I've been to O'Sheas a few times now and it has its good and bad points, labeled an Irish bar it undoubtedly has a few novelty Irish touches (the jerseys, a painted harp) but the lack of any Irish staff or of English speakers made it feel less authentic, but I guess that's just my opinion. There is a wide... More
Very nice location, the beer was very cold, with reasonable prices, and the food.....it was nice to have something different than fried plaintains and chicken. Service was good, and everyone around us, seemed to be enjoying their food, and the atmosphere.
This place has some truly Irish touches, no doubt due to the owner actually being Irish! The drinks are good and reasonably priced. The fish and chips are, as everybody else says, really good. Service was good. A nice place to hang out and people watch since they have an outdoor seating area.
I knew this place would be great when the Irishman whose guest house I was staying in recommended it. Did not disappoint. Great place to sit outside in the heart of Granada and soak it all in. Amazing staff, and as a former bar worker I don't throw that around lightly, that are super friendly. Obviously they have fish and... More
I'm not sure why people find it necessary to rave about mediocrity. O'Sheas is a good place, with decent food and an excellent location. If you are craving Irish food, this is it. Though I must say, the "Fish and Chips" was not what you would expect: The chips are phenomenal, and the fish was delicious, except it was not... More
