Having been to this pub restaurant on and off over the years under various management I have always enjoyed my food there but have recently returned thanks to Tastecard and think its brilliant value, great food and will definitely be going back.

Roast dinners were delicious and deserts were divine! Gorgeous food and friendly service from the bar staff and waitresses.

We stayed overnight with our motorhome in the large car park. Warm welcome, and great food. Harveys Wessex bitter well looked after. This is very much a diner's pub, and the venison pie and lamb curry well presented and excellent. Lovely pub with good atmosphere. There is a small local's bar.

The Welcome was warm and they spotted is and remembered or booking name. Nice touch. Very old surroundings that gave a nice feel.
