As the Tamarind bay hotel served the most expensive beers we had in the Grendaines we were most pleased to locate Majellas little restaurant on the Beach which was recommended in out guide book. We discovered Majellas on the Beach on our last night in Canouan. Pity...as we would have visited more often! Everyone was very warm and hospitable. What a bonus to have such great food, prepared fresh, in such a wonderful, relaxing setting. more

Luckily for those of us that visit there, Canouan Island is not overrun by tourists. A lot of those that do go seem to spend their time in either Raffles or The Tamarind Hotel. When travelling through The Grenadines, we found one of those places that truly gives a plus to your vacation. Majella's recently opened on the beach, next to the jetty.
