Beautiful dining room, superior bar and great lounge.This hideaway has excellent Italian cuisine, full bar, good atmosphere and pleasant wait-staff.
Mario's has become a sort of "old reliable" during my visits in the area for business. During my most recent visit I ordered the Prime Rib, and it was excellent. Also recently had a good business lunch there.
The food here is very good. I had the lasagna, minestrone soup, salad, and steamed shrimp. My friend had the nachos. The room was cramped, with too many tables put into too small of a space. But the waitresses were attentive and friendly. The food tasted good. The pizza crust was thin, which highlighted the fresh and tasty toppings. The specials offered good value, but the regular menu prices seemed a bit high. Overall, it was a decent visit.
I'm not much of an Italian food eater. I had the Chicken Alfredo and I also had pizza. Both were very good, especially the pizza. It was thin so I did not expect much flavor, but was I surprised. Each bite was very flavorful. I will go back.
The food is always amazing and the servers are fantastic. The new management has really cleaned up the daily running and it is a pleasure to step in at any time. While we usually place orders to go, I would love to come back and enjoy the food in the restaurant for once.
