We went there recently with relatives who live in Roanoke and who are vegetarians. We were all pleased with the buffet selections, and our dining experience was enhanced by the wall colors and the background music. more
We came from Macon, Georgia to visit the Star City Motor Madness. Spotted this restaurant just walking around. We had the Tandoori shrimp and the Angaar (lamb seared in chili). Both were excellent as was the service! more
The lunch buffett is very good. The food is usually fresh and they have a lot of variety with options changing regularly. A great way to try many dishes. Good value and nice downtown location, though parking can be difficult. The mango mousse is excellent. more
I think it is a bit overrated, the last time I went I found hair in more than one thing on the buffet and our glasses were dirty. The food isn't anything to write home about either. more
Just two days back I thought about stopping at the Indian restaurant Nawab in Roanoke, VA. Nawab is located in the downtown area of Roanoke just beside the famous food-court. We have been to Nawab a half dozen times and we always choose it when we don't want to be surprised. At lunch they have an excellent buffet, and the items are not the same every time. I've only been to Nawab twice, but I would recommend it to anyone I know. Their food is great and service is relatively friendly, so it is well worth the money spent. more
