Hidden in the Kingsmill Shops not far from Busch Gardens is one of the best restaurants in the WIlliamsburg area. Quietly elegant surroundings, good service and excellent food at reasonable prices, especially at lunch. Plus plentiful free parking. No, you can't walk around Merchants Square before or after, although the Kingsmill Shops have some interesting offerings. But the food is... more

Perfection! I am local and have enjoyed Le Yaca for almost 27 years and have never been disappointed. It is rare to find consistency for so long. Eight of us enjoyed a wonderful Sunday recently and each raved about their choices. I own a food establishment in Williamsburg and always recommend Le Yaca for a beautiful dining experience. I might... more

I am frustrated writing this review. The chef seems to have cut back. Precise execution with each dish: carrot&mango chilled soup, with a burst of flavor mingling diced crystallized ginger with micro greens. Sadly slightly singed foie gras but, truffle salt hid 1st note. Scallops were not fresh and heart of my frustration. if scallops were of the best grade... more

Great Value, such a wonderful intimate restaurant. I so enjoyed my dining experience. The food will leave me wanting to come back to get my taste of Le Yaca again and again because only they will be able to satisify the craving for this food. I love the feel of this restaurant, it is so welcoming more like a home.... more

We have eaten in French restaurants in the US and in France. We had a lovely meal, better than the last meal we had in Paris. The appetizer was perfect - crepes with \crab filling. We both enjoyed the seafood we ordered for a main course. Service was skillful. It is in a strip mall, but the decor inside is... more

This is a good place to take your favorite Valentine, celebrate a recent promotion, and the like, and are willing to spend top dollar for it. Very nice establishment, good service, and tasty food in the French tradition. Don't go if you are in a hurry. Also, don't go if you have a huge appetite; this is for gourmets, not gourmands. more

We were a party of ten spending Thanksgiving weekend in Colonial Williamsburg. By the third day of dining out we decided to try a French restaurant called Le Yaca based on recommendations from this site, but we were disappointed. Le Yace was our most expensive meal of the vacation, and certainly far from the best. We called and immediately received... more

We've been here several times over the last few years, when visiting Williamsburg on business. This restaurant is a small gem in a little shopping mall near Kingsmill. The service is good, Madame is very welcoming and very French, and the food is superb. On this visit we enjoyed the fall dinner (beef for one o us, scallops for the... more

Wishing a trip to France was on our schedule, we decided to have dinner at Le Yaca. Madame's personal interest in her guests sets this restaurant apart. When she told us she had some particularly fine oysters, we accepted the offer. They were wonderful. My wife's red sea bass, fresh and thoughtfully prepared, was delightful, as was my duck breast.... more
