My husband and I had dinner here on a Thursday night for a celebration. The chefs (John and Sam) were both very entertaining and fun to watch as they cooked our food. However, the food was absolutely the star of the show and it was fantastic! The scallops, cornbread and beef tenderloin could not have been any better. Elegant, tasty... more

In November, thanks to Trip Advisor, my husband and I went to this restaurant/ entertainment dinner. We made reservations for four people a few weeks prior to our scheduled dinner. The seating is arranged according to reservations and we were in the front row. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house as the seating is on... more

We paid 168 for 2, but it was really worth it. It took 3 hours, included jokes, appetizers and champaigne before the 5 course meal with 3 wines. Sherrie was quick to make sure everyone was served like royalty. The only thing I could give as a tip would be, don't wear jeans. Jeans is all we packed, and we... more

Residing here and having tried all of the restaurants in the top 25+ this one by far outshines the others....the food is great, the experience is terrific, and while it isn't cheap it is worth every penny when you consider the quality of the food, the many courses, and the vino included in the price. If you want to go... more

I am hard pressed for a sufficient numer of superlatives. This was decidedly the most fun we have had at a restaurant, ever. Outstanding food, delightful people, superior service. Although our home is three hours away, we may make it a point to go back just to Williamsburg just to do this again. I am making a list of friends... more

We attended as a group on a business/personal vacation. The cooking class was a full evening of great food, good wine and educational entertainment. If you are a person that watches the food network or loves to gather recipes or learn new techniques or just have a wonderful, fun dining experience, this place is for you. Service was warm and... more

This place is a real gem! Dinner is not cheap, but included in the price are canapes, a starter, main dish, and dessert, plus wine. The chef cooks dinner in front of you and maybe twenty other people, and talks about the dishes he prepares, all the while giving cooking tips and telling stories. The attached store sells all the... more

My husband and I had dinner at A Chef's Kitchen to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant opened at 6:30 with hors d'oeuvre and champagne. The chefs were prepping for the meal and were very approachable, answering questions and volunteering cooking tips. Once everyone was seated and the presentation began, we were walked through the cooking process for each of our... more

Very glad, that we went there. Probably one of the best meal ever. Food is very good. Price wise is also very good catch- even if you count food and wine only - but on top of it you get show! Presentation is very interesting, chef is also provide pieces of information here and there, which may be not directly... more

Wow! What an experience this is. The food is superb and the atmosphere is like no other. Two great chef's cooking with the freshest of ingredients right in front of you. They even pair great wines with each meal! We told them we were on our honeymoon when we called and they wrote out "Congratulations" in chocolate sauce on our... more
