Former Newport Bay Restaurant--excellent fish and service. Right next to La Quinta Inn. Blah atomosphere.
Good food. We went there for dinner with no reservations. We were staying at the hotel next to the restaurant. A little pricey but no more than you would pay for a nice dinner at most places.
Our party of four arrived on time for a pre-arranged reservation and were immediately taken to our requested table with menus already set on the table. The service was courteous and attentive. Our food was delicious. We had kids chicken tenders, kids mac & cheese (best ever), Parmesan crusted Halibut, The Big Fish Grill Cioppino, Traditional Steamer Clams and side... More
We were about 40 persons to eat there but the staff were not prepared for this crowd. Some of us did not received their starters, while some others never received their drinks. Price is fair and food is good.
Big Fish Grill in Kirkland is conveniently located in south Kirkland, just off the main road connecting it to Bellevue to the south. It is a free-standing structure, has a wonderful varied menu, and is appealing to families as well as adults. Very friendly wait-staff.
Over the years, we have always enjoyed the Big Fish Grill and it was especially good last night. I had the encrusted ahi tuna steak with saffron rice and asian vegetable slaw -- perfectly prepared. My wife had the prawns fettucini with artichoke hearts and capers. Just a fabulously delicious meal and the service was excellent. Often at The Big... More
For the quality of food, I feel the price was a little high. Food was okay, but wasn't the best. I had the Fish and Chips with a side of Coleslaw the first time and it was okay. Fries were the best part. The next time I ate here I had the Black Bean burger. I swear this is the... More
Looking on TA for a good seafood restaurant, we decided to give the Big Fish Grill a try and we were very pleased. The building is in nice condition, a bit dated interior, but everything was clean and well lit (we ate at lunchtime). The menu has lots of options, so within a group, everyone can find something that suits... More
Very good food. The staff is very friendly, it is located right off the freeway. I would strongly reccomend this establishment if you like seafood.
I am not from the Seattle/Kirkland area. I do know that things are more expensive and to be careful when ordering, bread or salad can often cost more on top of your entree (and they don't point out the extra charge). The food was good, I didnt feel it was exceptional.
