Los Camperos has good Mexican food. Their chimichungas are our favorites. The wait staff was very efficient and food has always been the correct temperature.
The food was delicious, excellent - big portions, hot and tasty. The chips were wonderful and the only place I've ever had a side dish of like 'pickled cabbage' with a cilrantro flavor to it. Drinks weren't bad either. . . my husband asked for a 'large beer' and he got a "Mucho Grande" beer, quart size AND they had... More
On a recent day trip to Leavenworth when we needed to find a place for lunch we remembered that there was a Mexican restaurant that we had been to years ago on a previous trip and wanted to find it and eat there. It was a nice place to stop and take a break from all the shops. It wasn't... More
We liked this restaurant because it was off the main drag, not crowded, and very casual. The food was good and reasonably priced. It wasn't the greatest Mexican food we've had, but it was decent.
We ate here last year and loved the place, this time not so. Pros Friendly staff, ok beer prices. Great chips and salsa served as a free appy Cons Both our plates were microwaved food, I expected fresh. The place was dead, maybe thats why the food was nuked. Unacceptable
We try to eat here every time we're in Leavenworth. We really like the upstairs outdoor patio. The food is awesome, the margaritas are excellent and the staff and service can't be beat. We love the family friendly atmosphere. They don't do the flashy fancy mexican food, they do the simple authentic and great mexican food!
great staff , great atmosphere and the dish was amazing! keep up the good work~ I love to take my family here! birthdays and just fun here too!
Perfect Mexican Cuisine - Appreciate the vegetarian options. Great Margaritas - Games for the kids! It's a tucked away gem, but worth the find.
This is a wonderful classic mexican restaurant hidden away on the second floor around the corner. It's one of our favorite restaurants in Leavenworth and we eat there often. During warm weather you can eat out on the deck and the owners are very friendly.
As the first customers in the restaurant, we felt pampered by good service. I ordered the camerones mexicano. It was very good, especially in combination with cabbage garnish, salsa, and guacamole. Essentially I was able to create a fajita style meal with the food components. My husband was satisfied with cheese enchiladas (very cheesy). I was a little disappointed it... More
