A small joint in the middle of nowhere in Redmond, but their beer-battered fish burrito is to die for. And the salsa bar, Yum! Come before lunch time to avoid crowds!
We are visiting and are not locals. Went on a week night based on other reviews giving us the wrong impression that the food was pretty good. Not the case. Had the chicken enchilada plate that had next to no cheese but way too much sauce. The grilled chicken was plentiful, smothered in spicy sauce and wrapped in tortillas. The... More
The best way to find out about Ooba's is by word of mouth because it is tucked away in a corner near Ben Franklins Craft store. Oopa's offers a wide variety of authentic and fresh mexican food. Our family has never been dissapointed in the quality of the food and the amount of food you pay for. It's so good... More
Second time here and food is reasonable. I like the different salsa's you can try for free. Didn't dislike anything.
We have been several times to this place and mostly its above average, but we have also had a couple just ok experiences there. A few small issues like we always seem to have an issue when trying to use "perks" coupons there. We also would like more sauce on some of the meals, sometimes can be a little dry.... More
The food is great--wish the atmosphere was a little more comfy but the food is always good. The food is "clean"--not huge quanities of sauce, good plain rice and black beans are served.
My family has been eating Oobas since it opened. The owners are really nice and have built a great little chain of local restaurants. Redmond location is the original though and we go there often. Our favorite meal is the steak burrito. They use skirt steak and it's fabulous. Love the minted rice with such a unique flavor and the... More
I went with my husband and 3 younger children. I loved the seasonings marinated into the beef. It tasted almost Cuban. They are very friendly there, and answer all of your questions wonderfully before you order. Portions are huge. Nachos are great, but get the beef...it's the best. The kids did fine with their kid meals, but you have to... More
This is the place you stop at when you want some good food fast. The ambience is not great, though the clientele usually seems in a good mood. The staff hustles and your order arrives hot and in a shorter amount of time than you'd expect. The tortilla chips taste fresh, there is a condiment bar so you can refine... More
The food is always just right - there's no atmosphere but that's alright.
