used to be a chain called yankee diner -locations in bellevue and ballard area in seattle closed -new owners-renton was kept changed to yankee grill.sometimes great sometimes mediocre went tonight..food was cold.poor slow service.forgot to bring the bread and part of the order.slow to get coffee refills/drinks food was pretty good.previous times have been great,bad,ok depends on time/day/server attitude/ hit... more

Good olde fashioned American comfort food at it's finest. From the most savory roast beef ever to the flakiest crusted Turkey pot pies... it's hard to go wrong with anything on the menu! The service is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. more

Don't go there for a brunch. Cheap food, not very good service and what can you expect, it a slight step up from Denny's. (It's owned by Mitzels) Low quality food. more

I have been a fan of Yankee Grill ever since I found out they were part of the MItzels family group of restaurants. I fell in love with the Breakfast, Turkey Dinners, and the COBB SALAD a long time ago. How many places any more can you get Fresh Cooked (Rotisserie) Turkey, Chicken or Ham. My husband and I were visiting in the Oregon-Washington area July 2005. Saw the Yankee Grill as we were driving. Stopped in for brunch. The food was simply horrible--salty; hollandaise was tasteless, fatty, separating; where was the crab??; potato casserole was greasy; food lukewarm.
