Tomato Street is a great place for just about any demographic: families, couples, lunch, business, etc... Our friends took us here because it is kid friendly but I have to say that this is no kiddy restaurant. My chicken parmesan was crispy with delicious tomato sauce properly spiced (some places that cater to children leave out spices on account of young palates), the cheese nicely melted and yummy. Heavy, cheesy, creamy food--which seems to go over well in Spokane, but not with me. A little overpriced, too. But kids love it, and one could do worse. For my money, Mama Mia is a better Italian joint on Francis, about a quarter-mile west of this. more
