Kalico Kitchen is the best family owned restaurant in Spokane. The owners, Charlie and Teri Baziotis, employ great waitresses who make your experience a happy one. You got to try their fresh squeezed orange juice.....you can even watch it being squeezed; cannot get it any fresher! Lots of food at a great price. Substitutions permitted! more

Friend recommended we make the short run off the interstate as we went thru Spokane to try this place. Obviously popular, we had a 15 minute wait before getting a seat, but so worth it. $6 bought a hamburger with a huge pile of onion rings (and their famous "secret sauce"). We went several times a week just to eat and visit with a friend, and they made us our own coffee mugs with our names on them! Great food, fun times, in the budget, almost cheeper than eating at home! We are now loving to go to dinner at the Kalico also! more
