The breakfast is very good. I had the Cinnamon roll french toast. This is a real Cinnamon roll dipped in egg and cooked to make frech toast out of it. It was very good, just don't put maple syrup on it or it will be to sweat. more

My husband and I have been here 1 time and it was for lunch. I had the Mushroom burger and he had the cajun chicken sandwich. Your food comes with a fresh piece of cornbread that they make themselves each day. It has some kind of sugar glaze on it and it was delicious. I don't even like cornbread. My... more

The homeade gravy and swedish crepes cannot be beaten, but the owner sometimes forgets the orders. That is the worst especially when the stomaches are growling. Coming on weekends, it will be more busy, but thats a chance to take. Earlier the better, they will remember you're sitting there. Been there mamy times, sweet people, just slower. Give it your... more

We like giving our business to the small, local restaurant owners. After hearing from friends how wonderful The Buttered Biscuit is, we decided to finally try it. It was a little hard to find. If you try to find it, from Main St. in downtown Sumner turn on the street that intersects with Main at Sugar Babies childrens' shop. Go... more

I went to The Buttered Biscuit about two months ago on my daughter's recommendation. I have been back numerous times and I have never had a bad meal! It's home cookin' with more than reasonable prices for the more than reasonable portions of absolutely delicious food! For anyone who has had a bad experience there have you been to a... more

I wish more people knew about this restaraunt! It's got great great great food, cheap all you can eat dinner specials (8.99!), and fun talkative staff. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is homemade- and you can tell after you taste it! Ask for a sample of cornbread or SOS gravy... it's to die for! If you don't believe me, they... more

Pretty good food - we went twice to give it a second try. Service bad, out of many common items on menu, not very clean. It just seemed like they were not organized or ready for customers. more

My first trip down there my wife and I had the "Chicken Little" dinner. This is a combination dinner with a 6 oz Chicken Fried Steak (I think it was larger) outstanding corn beef hash, (this stuff was almost pure corned beef, not fat and greasy either), S.O.S. poured over the Chicken Fried Steak, Fried Potatoes, and "Gramma Eggs". I'm... more

We had heard many positive reviews about the Buttered Biscuit, but based on our first and only visit, I'd strongly advise people to stay away! The restaurant itself seems pleasant enough, with friendly staff greeting us and quickly serving water and (not so good) coffee. I was a little put off by the cleanliness of the dishware---coffee mugs had old... more
