Normally authentic Mexican cuisine - but this time it was not up to par. The lighting was abnormal - ie they had installed those low draw fluorescent light bulbs in the over head lighting - unfortunately they must not have read the part where those type of bulbs function poorly on a dimmer switch!! This place is da bomb, and has the best cheese dip in the world, and I don't care what ANYONE says. It's easy to get to, and all the food is great. This place is still one of my two favorite Mexican restaurants in the U.S., and it is surprising given that Charleston doesn't have a large Mexican population.
