Who would have thunk there would be good Indian food in Charleston, WV?! There's been nothing that we've tried that we haven't enjoyed. All the dishes (lamb, chicken, beef) have been fantastic, we can't get enough! The atmosphere is pretty stark, but the food, service and value is all there. more
Sitar of India was the first place I had tried Indian cuisine, and it's been the best. The food is delicious, and is great to eat in or carry-out. The Sitar of India was a typical Indian restaurant experience. I had lunch during the buffet. Not many item but what was there was delicious and plentiful. The staff was friendly and quick. The bill with tip was less than $12. And it was worth it. The restaurant itself is not fancy but functional. Don't visit for the ambiance. more
I live in Seattle, WA, where we have good Indian food a-plenty. Imagine my surprise at finding food on par with the best Seattle has to offer. I convinced my grandma to try it.
