Although it's called a drive in, it's not really. It has a drive thru window, and parking right up to the building, but no one comes out to take an order. There is seating for 20-24 diners inside, but in the summer we usually eat outside. We went to Shirls a few nights ago for a late (9 om) dinner... more

Its great to support a locally owned business and Shirls does have awesome ice cream at decent prices but... I just can't take the awful service anymore. Long waits in line to be served by rude and grumpy teenagers. They will also totally ignore you at the drive thru so don't go there with any kind of time frame in... more

The best sundae I have ever had. You have got to try this place! The brownie sundae comes with a large warm brownie that seems to have just come out of the oven with plenty of toppings. This is the place to get your ice cream. more
