They have the best Octoberfest beer out there. I like their seasonal brews as well. They also have a great yearly fundraiser dogtoberfest that benefits the Dane County Humane society. Capital Brewery offers an outdoor beer garden during the summer months. It is very similar to a real German beer garten, but on a smaller scale. This really not a restaurant, since they do not offer food. Occassionally, they will bring in outside restaurants that have stands offering food. Great place to drink, hang-out, and even take a tour of the brewery. Not sure about their food. more
We got lost trying to locate another semi-local craft brewhouse and our friend Bill knew there was another in the area since he was here years ago.
