We were there for lunch on a weekday after Christmas. First off, the food is really good. Typical diner fare done very well. A series of glitches made our meal a problem. First, when we arrived there was a "Seat Yourself" sign prominently displayed. However, when we did that we were told that there was a line of people waiting.... more

In town on business, I visited this diner on a Friday evening primarily due to the reviews seen here. At 7:00 it was full but not cramped or excessively noisy. Yes, it's as fine of a place that you will find. Extremely well priced, casual but not trashy, and hearty tasty servings. I had the meatloaf platter. Excellent and everything... more

Great place to take kids and/or to eat sugary delights. The real food is good, too. The picnic tables outside are perfect in the summer, especially when you have an energetic toddler that finds it hard to stay seated. more

We spent several days staying in Middleton, WI for my daughter's wedding. We stopped in a big men's clothing shop -- BTW, a good place to ask for restaurant suggestions.
