“Good old-fashioned supper club”

Unfortunately, the Shack is one of few remaining supper clubs in this area. I have been there several times and have had some very good food there. (The salmon is very nice). The atmosphere and decor is on the nicer side with a wood interior and beautiful stained glass windows. It's still a nice place and for lunch many selections... more

We had reservations at 6:30 p.m. on New Years Eve. My wife is a server and was her first New Years Eve off in 17 years. We were seated promptly and ordered drinks. We (3 couples) visit Duluth/Superior at least once a year, and finding a decent restaurant always seems to be a bit of a problem. In the past, we've had pretty good luck with the Shack bar/restaurant in Superior, but they seem to have tightened their belt of late, concerning daily specials and there are some questionable items on that menu.... more

Great atmosphere & service. Good food, especially their home smoked ribs w/home made barbeque sauce. Some of the best ribs in the area. Not for the budget minded people. more
