Folks, this is a little fish market that serves some great food. We only purchased fish and fish salads which included tuna for grilling, Poke, and Lomi and all was wonderful. My wife will not eat raw fish sushi at home on the east coast but definitely enjoyed her tuna and salmon salads (actually, the only place she will eat... more
Excellent fresh fish and friendly service ! This is a takeout place. We shopped here for fish to cook for dinner each day. more
Everything here is good. Yes you have to wait in a long line sometimes but totally worth it! And no, it's not a restaurant, make sure you find a good beach or nice tree to sit under(or plan to take it back to your room)before you pick-up This is what us locals eat. ONO!!! more
I live here in the Koloa/Po'ipu area - and I think that some folks might be kind of confuzzled because this is NOT a restaurant - it is our local fish market that happens to have some good plate lunches also for take-out - no place to eat - not fancy, not meant to be fancy. Just incredibly fresh fish... more
I stopped there for lunch and had`the poke bento lunch about $4.95 and a sashimi plate also about $5. Both were great!! Sashimi at Hanalei Doplhin was $17 and the sashimi here was better! It was so good I got more for dinner. If you like Poke and Sashimi, do stop by & get some and take to the park... more

If you are from the latter group, don't even consider this place. You... more
Koloa Fish Market is a small, nondescript carry-out only local fish market. They also do lunch plates. I saw more local Hawaiians there than tourists, which is always a very good sign. We had the Korean Poke (raw ahi tuna in sauce and seasoning) - utterly incredible. My wife, who has NEVER eaten raw fish in her life (I've tried... more
My husband and I shared a kalua pork and lau lau pork plate lunch. It was so good! The poke was fabulous as was the lomi lomi. It can be a little intimidating to order, but they were patient and fast. No room to eat here, but find a little bench and you are set. Great food! more
Found on tripadvisor. Three ladies behind the corner were great. Had many many choices for good plate lunch. All came with rice, mac. Greatest deal on way to Poipu with the best taste. We stopped grabbed it to go (only way you can take it as the the place is big as a closet) BUT great food and value. Had... more
