This is one of the restaurants we make a point to visit while we're in Kauai. We enjoy the intimate ambience, the unhurried service, and the delicious food. Particularly loved the brie with blueberry brandy sauce. Good wines, too. more
We saw the reviews weren't good, but we were going just for happy hour that internet said was from 6-7 with live music. When we got there at 6 they had no happy hour or live music. My husband and I made the horrible mistake of spending our first year wedding anniversary at this restaurant. Everything was under par: service, atmosphere, and especially food. A fine resturant serving food that you won't find at applebees,Definatly more adventourous cuizine. Saffron is supposed to be one of the finest of the restaurants in the north shore of Kauai. We went recently and were disappointed for the following reasons: services and value for dollars. Don't rely on the information posted on the restaurant's website which is out dated. more
