Come on folks, remember where you are. You seem to be comparing Tutu's with what you would expect from a Metropolitan restaurant. Maui Revealed never said it was top drawer. It said it was good for what there was to choose from, and it is. We had the pulled pork sandwiches and they were great. The workers were friendly and... more

Horrible. We went there on a tip from "the blue book", Maui Revealed. Although the book was very helpful for the most part, there were a few misses. Tutu's was one of them. Everything we tried to order was not available, and when we did finally get our food (about 5 tries later) it was so bad that we threw... more

Yikes! Skip this place and pack a lunch for the Road to Hana. We read in a guidebook that this was the better option for lunch in Hana. But my boyfriend got sick from the food. It was the only thing we ate different all day, so we know it was his chicken sandwich from Tutu's. And he'd only taken... more

We went here off the Maui Revealed recommendation also. It is unimpressive at best. Visited on Aug. 15 for breakfast. My husband and I both had the breakfast burrito. It was much smaller than we expected for $9/each. It tasted like cooked egg beaters with some cheese and very fatty bacon. Salsa must remain in the fridge because the whole... more

Had breakfast here and it was pretty good for options available in Hana. The loco moco was a little bland. Breakfast sandwich ok. French toast was tasty. Walked just across the way to the picnic tables overlooking Hana Bay. Can't complain much about starting the day watching the ocean. more

Contrary to the rave review in "Maui Revealed" this place is a dump. I had the taro burger and it was terrible. (I've had good taro burgers elsewhere so I do know the difference.) The employees are surly and unpleasant. The very limited number of tables are dirty and ugly. You are probably better off going across the road to... more

Tutu is not good and not bad. It is almost the only place to eat so be grateful it is there. A Thai wagon has opened up opposite the ball field was not bad. They will cook Pad to order, about $8 more

Do not listen to the Maui Revealed book. This place does not serve decent food. The spam dog was beyond bad. The other food looked even worse. The ice cream is good and only eat this. Save yourself the grief and bring food with you for the road to Hana. more

Lunch in Hana during our drive through and past. Both hubby and I had burgers. He had the teri and I had the Tutu burger, which was a hand formed patty. That plus one small order of fries and two sodas was $25. My burger was tasty and hit the spot, although I was starving at the time! Fries were $4... more
