If you happen to visit Maui, do stop in and try the food at this restaurant. Simply amazing. We loved it so much we went back for a second meal during the three days that we were in Maui. It's a small restaurant (nothing fancy) but very clean and affordable. The owner is a friendly lady. There is a lot... more

A small, friendly, Vietnamese restaurant featuring mock meat and tofu a block or two away from the Hana Highway in Paia. Prices were reasonable (entrees $9-14) and we really enjoyed both of our dishes – a “chicken” curry and a pepper steak. The highlight of our meal was the spicy lemongrass soup. The waiter was friendly and entertained one of... more

Great Food in a great town. Loved this place. We ate here 4 times in 7 days. Try the vegetable soups. They are so delicious. The service is not fast and the place has sort of a meditative quiet feel but thats part of the charm. You can walk here from the Paia Inn Hotel which we stayed at for... more

We have been on Maui for five nights, and eating awesome fish (Mama's Fish House is expensive but worth the splurge), but after eating fish for that many nights I was weary of eating more. We knew of Fresh Mint from driving past it in downtown Pa'ia and on a whim decided to try it out. Two of us are... more

What an awesome restaurant! The service may have been a little unorganized, but once the food was on our table, everything else was forgiven! I was in total vegan heaven! My friend Jerome and I ordered their tofu eggplant with two scoops of brown rice. The tofu was cooked just right, firm on the outside, and juicy on the inside.... more

Loved the food! The staff was well-meaning, but seemed nearly clueless on how to provide efficient service. But maybe that made it more like the full-on Sixties experience, as befits Paia. Charming. but just don't be too famished or in a hurry.... more

We went to Fresh Mint in Paia last night for Valentine's Day and were thoroughly surprised at how delicious the food was. The prices were also totally reasonable. We had spring rolls with peanut sauce as an appetizer (#3 on the menu) followed by a curried eggplant/tofu dish (#21, I think) with brown rice and salad and a Sesame "Chicken"... more

It is amazing how much variety they can churn for an all vegetarian menu. I think it will satisfy meat eaters too since the veg menu is tasty and interesting. It is not a pseudo meat dishes kind of place but is vegetarian in the true sense. We loved it and visited it twice or thirce in our short stay. more

This place is fantastic! We went to the one in Kahului twice while we were on vacation. It doesn't look like much, it's in a warehouse with folding chairs and tables, but you just have to give it a chance. The waitress was the sweetest thing in the world, and sooo helpful. The first time we went we were practically... more
