Don't eat here. MAYBE have a pupu and a drink, but DO NOT spend $25+ on any entree here. Fish is dry, meat is tough, and the food is bland. Service was semi-rude, until it is tip time and time to pay, then of course they are nice as pie. more

One of the most expensive meals of my trip, and definitely the least appetizing. Had great coconut shrimp to start with, also a tasty Lava Flow - but downhill from there - had seafood pasta - gross! Partner had seafood special - fish was dry. Go for a drink and an app or dessert - the space is beautiful -... more
My husband and I went to the restaurant and bar at Hotel Molokai on a Friday in April. We had spent the day taking the mule ride down to Kaluapapa (a great adventure) and we were tired and ready to have a few drinks and dinner. This is the place to go in Molokai on Friday nights. They had great... more
The Hula Shores at Hotel Molokai is the fullest restaurant with the highest prices on the island, clearly regarded as the upscale alternative, if we judge by filled chairs. I liked the food here. It was done well. i had 2 dinners, 1 lunch and 2 breakfasts here, and found the food solid all but once (their home fries at... more
Never even a good restaurant; by any reasonable standards, it has now gone down hill (and approaching the bottom). Folks go here for the music and the atmosphere but they're driving them away in droves now. In the worst economy in the recent history of Hawaii tourism this outfit has decided to increase prices and cut corners. The prime rib... more
Hello, I had the time of my life while vacationing in Molokai this past September. My family and I went to the Hotel Molokai twice for breakfast and once for dinner. The food was never great and the waitresses were crabby. My husband is the easiest going guy on the planet but these ladies were always quick to say something... more
The hotel has lost their good chef and the food has gone down hill! The Kailua pork quasadilla pupu was good, but the entrees were nothing to write home about. Portions are smaller too, so value isn't great either. We had much better meals everywhere else we ate on the island! more
it wasnt my favoutie place but it was not bad...great veiw tho more
This is one of the few restaurants on Molokai that offers all meal. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner twice here. The food is good, not gourmet, but dependable. The view is tremendous, only a few feet from the ocean. Fridays from 4 to 6:00 is a local musical gathering not to be missed. more
