This restaurant is always busy which speaks for itself. Great atmosphere, delicious food, well presented and reasonably priced. The staff were nice too. We booked for our second visit to avoid being disappointed and really looked forward to it. more

We ate here based on the wonderful reviews, but were sadly disappointed. Two of our party had the eggplant parmesan. They said that it was not good. The food at Poor Boy's was wonderful! We dined late at night, just before closing, but the staff didn't make us feel hurried at all! I would expect the kind of food we got here from a chain or buffet, not from a restaurant that is as highly reviewed as Poor Boy's Gourmet. We went for the early bird special because so many on this board raved about it. The mussels were the best we had ever had. Everything after that tasted like mass production food.
