Popovers are terrific - served with butter and strawberry preserves. I had the Maine Crab Cakes served with rice and vegetable. The heavily breaded crab cakes were nothing special and depended on the green onion sauce for flavor. The sauce was good. Rice & veggies were just there...nothing to note. Jordan Pond House is in a beautiful location in Acadia National Park. We try to time our dinner with the sunset as the restaurant overlooks the lake with a fantastic view. Their dinners are good, but the popovers are incredible! We would never visit Acadia without eating here. more

I was so looking forward to my lunch at Jordan Pond. We had reservations for us and our dog since we were advised they were "pet friendly" Nothing could be further from the truth. When we arrived we were told in a very cold impersonal way to "tie the dog to a tree" because they weren't serving outside that day.... more

I went to jordan pond twice when I visited acadia. The best popover ever. It is amazing that they have popover with the most delicious homemade ice cream too. blueberry ice cream was so good. more

Heard about Jordan's and stopped by there while we were biking through the carriage roads of Acadia. The place was packed with Tour buses and the wait seemed long. So we came back today. The wait was about 20 minutes and the tour buses were still there and then continued to come. They must have this down to an art... more
