The waiter was surly and impatient. The food looked good -- but smelled and tasted awful. When the manager came by, he took one look at our table and hurried away... he didn't have to ask if we enjoyed the meal, as most of it was still on our plates. Pass it by. more
The food was fine, however the waiter cleared the table whilst one of us was eating still, then decided to ask the others if they wanted desert whilst I was still having my main!! we found out later that it was the end of his shift... I DONT CARE!! If he was in a rush dont come over to 4... more
After our Alcatraz tour, we wanted a nice meal but didn't want to walk too far or drive to a restaurant. Although we normally avoid dining in the touristy areas such as Pier 39, we were pleasantly surprised with our experience at the Fog Harbor Fish House. This is a classic tourist trap where the decor is nice and the location is in the busy fisherman's wharf in SF. Problems started from the moment we were seated. The food was adequate. The clam chowder was the worst I've ever had anywhere. We had drinks there on Sunday 8/24 on which I informed the receptionests that the ladies bathroom walls needed cleaning, I let them know that someone had gotten sick, days ago, since what ever was on the wall was dried and growing mold. My family and I (about 10 of us) dined here and 5 of us ordered Fried Prawns, Broiled Prawns and Prawn Bruchette from the menu. This was a cozy restaurant on fisherman's wharf. After walking around the deck and watching the seals, we ate some great fish and pasta with wine. there was a fireplace by the lounge in front as well (this added the coziness)... wonderful paper napkins :) more
It is located in a beautiful area. You can enjoy the scene outside while having dinner relaxingly. I order crab, and they gave me a huge one. I did not even know how to start. more
I enjoyed my Seared "Rare" Ahi Tuna a lot. Been dreaming about it. Their Tiramisu's one of the best! more
