I have dined here a few times, not lately due to long lines. Everything has been good but not great. I too do not understand the long lines. Clement St. and Geary St. are lined with restaurants of similar quality. I think the lines are due to a somewhat small eating area. more

Overpriced! I don't know what people see in this place. Burmese Kitchen on Larkin Street is much better and reasonable. Love the tea leave salad. :-) more

We went here for dinner after hearing the rave reviews and were not disappointed! It is well worth the wait - the food is delicious and the samusa soup is a must! Will definitely come back here next time we are in San Francisco. more

I could hardly localize Burma in a map, but I just found out I love their food! This restaurant offers food that has chinese, indian and thai influences. Enjoyed a wonderful lunch here after visiting Golden Gate park and walking the GG bridge. Was lucky to come in between lunch waves. Ordered the Tea Leaf salad (divine) and the chicken/potato samosa. Burmese food seems to be a cross between Chinese and Indian (unsurprising given its location?) which is good, but not good enough to justify the throngs of people who gather outside this place like it's Jesus Christ Superstar. more

Since this restaurant has such great food, the wait list is almost always extremely long. I will admit, I have walked away a few times because I was just too hungry to wait. It is worth the wait if you are patient because the tastes in there will make you very happy. My absolute favorite is the green tea salad.... more
