This was our second trip back is is usually one of our highlights to San Francisco. La Folie is fabulous. This dishes area tasty and well prepared. Service is great. we'll be going back. this time, the chef came out to greet us (and all the other clients) which I thought was a nice touch. more

There are plenty of well-known restaurants with great food and atmosphere in San Francisco. But if you want the true experience of the top class of dining, try La Folie on Polk Street in the Russian Hill district. Expect to spend between $150 to $200 for two people. La Folie is a very expensive French restaurant with excellant food and lovely surroundings. We went there for a special dinner and really enjoyed it. What I really liked about this restaurant is the friendly, relaxed staff who provided very attentive service without seeming pretentious or overly fawning. more
