Sure, there are lots of tourists, it can get crowded, and the food is nothing special. But if you can get a seat at the bar you can watch them pour the Irish Coffees all day. more

How can you go to SF and not take the cable car to the base of Hyde Street and visit Buena Vista Cafe? Sure a simple Irish Coffee is $7 bucks but nothing is cheap in SF. Make sure you sit a the bar late in the evening and watch the house specialty be made a dozen at a time! more
