This was probably more like a 3.5 Star. Roasted Maine Lobster + gnocchi was yummy, but not to die for. Foie gras was ok...but not Great; have had much better. Dessert was pretty good too, but all in all, not the best meal in SF. more

I recently ate at Spruce with my wife and another couple. We were able to get a reservation at the last minute, and we were really impressed with everything. I had the white corn ravioli with shaved summer squash for an appetizer, and the charred pork tenderloin with crispy pork belly for the main. It was a superb meal, topped... more

We were so pleased that Spruce not only looks gorgeous but the menu and the food match the decor. The server we had was excellent and couldn't have been better. Everything we ordered was delicious. The room is elegant and bold, luxurious and comfortable. We can't wait to go back to Spruce on our next visit to San Francisco. more
